Joining the Dorset Bat Group opens the door to developing a better understanding of the needs of Dorset's Bats.

The Bat Group consists of a small, but growing, group of people from all walks of life - we all share an enthusiasm in learning more about bats and doing what we can to help them maintain their numbers throughout the County.

You may be interested in learning more, you may wish to become involved in surveys, you may even want to spend some time training to become a licensed Bat Warden for your area -  or you may simply want to help us by being another name on our list......

Whatever the reason, you be sure to receive a warm welcome from this friendly bunch!

The Dorset Bat Group holds a number of events each year, from field meetings, training sessions and indoor meetings.  We also give talks to schools and other groups, while others of us help out by manning the Bat Group display at the multitude of local shows.

Members will receive a regular newsletter as well as being able to attend the Bat Group social activities, as well as having the opportunity to help with various projects.
